Lake Titicaca is the world's highest navigable lake at 3810 metres above sea level. I took these photos on May 21, 2007 while on a boat tour to Lake Titicaca's Uros community, where the native inhabitants live on artificial, floating islands made of totora reeds.
I travelled in a reed boat from one island to another, with Uros women singing to the passengers as the boat departed:
